The Media Commons is composed of two spaces: <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>Room 306 on the third floor of the Main Library<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Room 220 on the second floor.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"margin: 1.5rem\">These two spaces do not have the same open hours. Please check this page for current room-specific information.<\/h4>\n<h2><div class=\"shortcode sh-p-4 sh-rounded sh-drop-shadow-sm sh-bg-il_blue !sh-text-white \"><div><div class=\"[&_a]:!sh-text-white [&_a]:visited:!sh-text-white\">Main Library Room 306<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/h2>\n<div class=\"row\" style=\"margin: 1.5rem\">\n\tRoom 306 is our main service space and includes our <strong>Loanable Technology<\/strong> collection, Self-Use Media Studios A and B, the Video Production Studio, Pro-Gear Rental, and Staff spaces.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-family: montserrat;font-size: 18px;font-style: bold\">Room 306 Open Hours &#8211; Fall 2026<\/h3>\n<p>\tMonday-Thurday: 10:00am &#8211; 7:00pm<br \/>\n\tFriday: 10:00am &#8211; 6:00pm<br \/>\n\tSaturday: Closed<br \/>\n\tSunday: 1:00pm &#8211; 7:00pm<\/p>\n<p>The Media Commons Service Desk is located in Room 306 on the third floor of the Main Library (northeast corner).<br \/>\n\tThe closest building entrance to the Media Commons is the Wright Street entrance located on the north side of the building. The stairs are located  immediately to your right. The elevator is past the stairs and down the hall near the entrance to the University Archives (Rm 146).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/facilityaccessmaps.fs.illinois.edu\/archibus\/schema\/ab-products\/essential\/workplace\/index.html\">Campus Building Accessibility Maps<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><div class=\"shortcode sh-p-4 sh-rounded sh-drop-shadow-sm sh-bg-il_blue !sh-text-white \"><div><div class=\"[&_a]:!sh-text-white [&_a]:visited:!sh-text-white\">Main Library Room 220<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/h2>\n<div class=\"row\" style=\"margin: 1.5rem\">\n\tThe Media Commons Collaborative Space is located in Room 220 and is open to patrons during the following semester hours: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/library-hours\/\">Libraries &amp; Hours page<\/a>. Hours may be reduced over breaks and during summer. Room 220 includes Self-Use Media Studio C, collaboration rooms, scanners, desktop computers, docking stations, and more!<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-family: montserrat;font-size: 18px;font-style: bold\">Room 220 Open Hours &#8211; Fall 2026<\/h3>\n<p>\tMonday-Thursday: 8:30am &#8211; 9:30pm<br \/>\n\tFriday:   8:30am &#8211; 5:30pm<br \/>\n\tSaturday: 10:00am &#8211; 4:30pm<br \/>\n\tSunday:   1:00pm &#8211; 9:30pm\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome!
