Limit one active booking at a time, max duration is two hours. Covered drinks and snacks are allowed in Room 220 anywhere except for the computer lab, scanning tables, and docking stations.<\/p>\n<p>University of Illinois affiliates can reserve Collaboration Rooms 1 through 4 when the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/library-hours\/#80\">Main Library<\/a> is open. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/sc\/about\/hours\/\">Hours<\/a> may differ over breaks and summer.)<br \/>\nIf you have any questions about reserving a group room, please email us at <a href=\"mailto:mediacommons@illinois.edu\"> mediacommons@illinois.edu<\/a>.<\/div>\n<h2><div class=\"shortcode sh-p-4 sh-rounded sh-drop-shadow-sm sh-bg-il_blue !sh-text-white \"><div><div class=\"[&_a]:!sh-text-white [&_a]:visited:!sh-text-white\">Features<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/h2>\n<div class=\"row\" style=\"margin: 1.5rem\">\n<div class=\"col-sm-8\" style=\"padding-top: 10px\">\n<h3>Wireless Screen Sharing<\/h3>\n<p>The rooms have monitors with Mersive Solstice devices that computers and mobile devices can cast\/share their screens to. <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.uillinois.edu\/illinois\/page.php?id=81434\">Please see this IT guide for instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Lighting, Air, and Roof Controls<\/h3>\n<p>The rooms are equipped with motion sensors that turn on the lights and circulated air flow when a patron enters them. The roof also automatically closes.<\/p>\n<p>These features can be controlled with black buttons in the center of one of the side walls <em>(see image to the right)<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Light options: Work (brightest), think (less bright), present (low lighting)<\/li>\n<li>Air options: on or off<\/li>\n<li>Roof options: closed, semi-open, fully-open<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Noise<\/h3>\n<p>If the air is on and the roof is closed, people inside the collaboration rooms cannot hear most noise outside of the rooms. It will also muffle conversations inside the rooms, making them difficult to overhear outside the rooms. However, we ask that patrons wear headphones when listening to music or participating in an online meeting to reduce disruptions to other patrons in 220.<\/p>\n<h3>Power<\/h3>\n<p>Tables in the collaboration rooms have power outlets and USB charging ports. The side walls of each room also have power outlets.<\/p>\n<h3>Whiteboards<\/h3>\n<p>All rooms have whiteboards and markers for collaboration.
