Published annually and cross-referenced with <em>Something About the Author<\/em>, it contains articles about individual children\u2019s authors, works of classic literature often read by young people and taught in high schools (e.g., To Kill a Mockingbird), and general topics of interest to teachers, librarians, and children\u2019s literature scholars.<\/p>\n<p>The list below, originally compiled by staff at the\u00a0Mary L. Williams Education &amp; Teaching Library at Oklahoma State University, highlights articles on special topics such as Australian children\u2019s literature, children\u2019s poetry, and the influence of Disney on children\u2019s literature. Entries are arranged alphabetically by subject in the list. <em>Articles marked with an asterisk (*) are available online only.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Browse volumes of <em>Children\u2019s Literature Review<\/em> by going to the <a href=\"https:\/\/go.gale.com\/ps\/start.do?p=LCO&amp;u=uiuc_uc\">Gale Literature Criticism database<\/a> and selecting \u201cWhat\u2019s Inside.\u201d Select \u201cChildren\u2019s Literature Review\u201d to view the dropdown menu of all volumes. Select the volume of interest and choose the heading \u201cTable of Contents\u201d to view the contents of that volume and find links to that content when available.<\/p>\n<p>To perform a general search across all published volumes of <em>Children\u2019s Literature Review<\/em>, select the Advanced Search button from the home page of <a href=\"https:\/\/go.gale.com\/ps\/start.do?p=LCO&amp;u=uiuc_uc\">Gale Literature Criticism<\/a>.
