Chaque fiche comporte une repr\u00e9sentation du filigrane et une s\u00e9rie de r\u00e9f\u00e9rences \u00e0 des lettres ayant le m\u00eame filigrane (ici, une couronne et la marque &#8220;Waterford&#8221;).  <\/p>\n<p>   Dans certains cas, le filigrane est le seul \u00e9l\u00e9ment qui permette de dater une lettre, par comparaison avec d&#8217;autres lettres d\u00e9j\u00e0 dat\u00e9es, \u00e9crites sur le m\u00eame papier.  <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>   Watermarks, such as the crown representing &#8220;Waterford&#8221; seen above in Professor Kolb&#8217;s drawing, are important clues to dating the letters because they indicate particular types of stationery that Proust was using at a given time.
