ReNamer Lite is one of the three renaming softwares we use to rename files and folders.<\/p>\n

How to rename:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Open ReNamer Lite and make sure there are no files queued in it or \u201crules\u201d created. It should look like this.\n
      \n
    1. You can also select the \u201cNew Project\u201d option under the \u201cFile\u201d tab to clear.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Click on the \u201c+\/Add\u201d or the \u201cClick here to add a rule\u201d to select how you would like to rename the desired files. Some common methods we use are \u201cdelete\u201d, \u201cremove\u201d, \u201cinsert\u201d and \u201creplace\u201d; although you may use other methods.\n

      1. Select which \u201crule\u201d is appropriate for the renaming job.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
      2. You can stack several \u201crules\u201d!\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. As an example, here is what it will look like when you remove bidIDs from file names.\n

        1. Add the files by dragging and dropping them into the ReNamer Lite or by selecting the \u201cAdd Files\u201d option and navigating to the files.<\/li>\n
        2. Set a \u201cremove\u201d rule and put in the bidID.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

          1. You can update the rule by double clicking on the rule applied.<\/li>\n
          2. \"\"<\/a>You can preview the new file names by selecting the \u201cPreview\u201d option.\u00a0The \u201cNew Name\u201d will be displayed in red and will change when you update the rule.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
