Advanced Renamer is one of the three renaming softwares we use to rename files and folders. As of July, 2020, it is only available for PCs.<\/p>\n

How to rename:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Open Advanced Renamer and change whether you would like to rename files or folders.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Add a method in the \u201cRenaming method list.\u201d Some common methods we use is \u201cremove\u201d, \u201crenumber\u201d, \u201creplace\u201d and \u201cadd\u201d; although you may use other methods.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. You can change where you would like the renaming method to apply.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. As an example, here is what it will look like when you remove BidIDs from file names.\n
      \n
    1. Add the files by dragging and dropping them into Advanced Renamer.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
    2. A sample of the new file names will be displayed and you can adjust the \u201cremove count\u201d to reflect where you would like to begin removing information from the file name.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
    3. You can stack several \u201cmethods\u201d!\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
    4. Once you are happy with the new filename, click \u201cStart Batch\u201d to rename the files!\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
