Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Now on Display in the Math Library: A Celebration of Fibonacci Day!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>11\/23 is\u00a0Fibonacci Day!<br \/>\nThe first four numbers of the Fibonacci sequence are 1 1 2 3 (therefore we celebrate on 11\/23).<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the Fibonacci Sequence?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Fibonacci sequence is a sequence of numbers.\u00a0 Add the last two numbers in the sequence to get the next number.\u00a0 The first six numbers of the sequence are 1 1 2 3 5 8, so:<br \/>\n1<br \/>\n1+0=1<br \/>\n1+1=2<br \/>\n1+2=3<br \/>\n2+3=5<br \/>\n3+5=8<\/p>\n<p>And this can go on forever!<\/p>\n<p><strong>To make your own:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Draw boxes using the Fibonacci
