If you need large format (11 X 17) printers or specialized scanners, refer to the Library\u2019s pages on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/geninfo\/printing\/\">Library Printers<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/geninfo\/scanning-and-copying\/\">Scanning and Copying<\/a> for a list of equipment available at other campus libraries.<\/p>\n<h2><div class=\"shortcode sh-p-4 sh-rounded sh-drop-shadow-sm sh-bg-blue-100 !sh-text-black \"><div><div class=\"\"> Printing <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/h2>\n<p>MPAL has two black &amp; white printers and one color printer. You can print from a library desktop or a mobile or laptop device, but please note that <strong>double-sided printing is only possible from a library desktop.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For instructions, see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/geninfo\/printing\/print-from-a-library-computer\/\">Printing from a Library Computer<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/geninfo\/printing\/print-from-a-laptop-or-mobile-device\/\">Printing from a Mobile Device<\/a>. If you need more help, ask at the service desk!<\/p>\n<h2><div class=\"shortcode sh-p-4 sh-rounded sh-drop-shadow-sm sh-bg-blue-100 !sh-text-black \"><div><div class=\"\"> Scanning<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/h2>\n<p>Scanning at the Library is free, though printing is not. MPAL scanners are available throughout the Library. You can scan material and email it to yourself or save it to a flashdrive for free, or pay to print out your material according to the fee schedule listed on the right.<\/p>\n<p>MPAL has the following scanners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Flatbed scanners:<\/strong> 3 on the first floor (2 require log-in), 1 on the second floor<\/li>\n<li><strong>Large-scale flatbed scanner:<\/strong> 1 on the first floor (requires log-in)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overhead scanner:<\/strong> 1 on the first floor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><div class=\"shortcode sh-col-span-3 sh-pb-3\"><div class=\"shortcode sh-p-4 sh-rounded sh-drop-shadow-sm sh-bg-orange-200 !sh-text-black \"><div><div class=\"\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">Costs<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Black &amp; White<\/strong>: $0.10\/page<\/p>\n<p><strong>Color<\/strong>: $0.40\/page<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">Payment<\/h2>\n<h3>Students<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/papercut.ics.illinois.edu\/\">Use Paid Credit.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Print charges will be deducted from your Paid Credit balance. It allows digitization of microfilm, microfiche, and microcards, which can then be emailed or saved to a flashdrive.
