Daily Illini issues from 1976 to 1992 now in the IDNC<\/h2>\n

Users of the Illinois Digital Newspaper Collections (IDNC), particularly locals or those with ties to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, may be acutely aware of the infamous gap in availability of Daily Illini<\/em> issues from 1976 to 1992.<\/p>\n

The Illinois Newspaper Project is thrilled to announce that, as of this week, previously undigitized issues of UIUC’s student newspaper are now available in the IDNC for research. A big thanks goes to the many people involved in this project!<\/p>\n

With the addition of this content, users can now access issues all filmed Daily Illini<\/em> issues from 1874 to 2010. That\u2019s 23,320 issues!<\/p>\n

You can now read issues of the DI <\/i>up to August 2010 online: https:\/\/go.library.illinois.edu\/DailyIllini<\/a>.<\/p>\n
