Except for the spelling of several names, this roll of Company K of the 76th Illinois Volunteer Infantry matches up with the printed roster in the Report of the Adjustant General of the State of Illinois (1901). It came to the Illinois Historical Survey from Gerry Busey, Jackson, Mo., via Lee Johnston, Dannel McCollum, and the Urbana Free Library, in 2001.
