Scope and Contents:
In 1958, Wilbur F. Starkey photographed scenes in Peru, Ill., and vicinity, and mounted 61 pictures in "A Pictorial History of Peru, Illinois, and part of the Illinois-Mich. Canal." He combined these black and white photographs with a 91-page typewritten history of Peru largely taken from Peru Centennial, 1835-1935 (1935).
