These letters and account records, of which the Library has transcripts of the originals in the McAllister Manuscripts of the Library Company of Philadelphia, relate to the business affairs of George Croghan, Barnard and Michael Gratz, L. A. Levy, and Joseph Simon.Â The letters discuss bills and payments, the sale of pelts, and surveying land, while the account records are for regular sales and "For Sundrys for the Use of the Indians."
