    The central database for sex-disaggregated social data covering European and North American nations. Provides series that are presented in line with the following policy areas: population, families and households, work and the economy, education, public life and decision making, health, crime and violence. This is the main page for statistics, and gender statistics are under “Gender and Population.”

    Many of these publications include statistics on the situation of women and children worldwide.
  • United Nations Statistics Division: Statistics and Indicators on Women and Men
    Covers six specific fields of concern: population, families, health, education, work and politics and human rights. The data are compiled mainly from official national and international sources. Site is updated at least once a year.
