The central database for sex-disaggregated social data covering European and North American nations. Provides series that are presented in line with the following policy areas: population, families and households, work and the economy, education, public life and decision making, health, crime and violence. Data series are presented by country, year, and by social and demographic breakdowns. From the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. This is the main page for statistics, and gender statistics are under “Gender and Population.”

Covers six specific fields of concern: population, families, health, education, work and politics and human rights. The data are compiled mainly from official national and international sources. Site is updated at least once a year.
