This encompasses circulation-related troubleshooting as well as patron-related situations that may occur<\/li>\n<li>Supervising undergraduate student staff<\/li>\n<li>Answering reference and directional questions<\/li>\n<li>Collection maintenance tasks<\/li>\n<li>Materials processing and bibliographic searching<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree<\/li>\n<li>Enrolled as Graduate Student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for the Academic Terms of Employment listed above. School of Information Sciences or related discipline preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and team skills, and evidence of ability to work effectively with diverse populations<\/li>\n<li>Have a sincere interest to work with and supervise undergraduate students<\/li>\n<li>Must be available to work evening and Sunday hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer service experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in libraries<\/li>\n<li>Art, Design, or Architecture background or interest<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Dewey Decimal classification system<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Ex Libris Alma\/Primo VE platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong> Please email your (1) Cover letter, (2) Resume (please include expected graduation date), (3) three references (name and contact information only, no letters of recommendation required), and (4) the days and hours you are able to work within the hours listed above to Nicolette Coleman at <a href=\"mailto:coleman7@illinois.edu\">coleman7@illinois.edu<\/a> by Monday, August 3<sup>rd<\/sup> for first consideration.
