A professor and science writer at the University of Missouri, he died January 4 from internal injuries sustained in a fall in his home.\u00a0 He served as president of the International Association of Agricultural Communicators in Education and earned respect through his leadership, professional skills, generous service and good spirit.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>\u00a0<a name=\"item4\"><\/a><b>An online \u201cclearinghouse\u201d of case studies<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>In agricultural and natural resource communication is taking shape.\u00a0 Prof. Ricky Telg, University of Florida USA, is developing this collection as an aid to students and professionals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would be a place where university students can access the real-life situations you have faced,\u201d he explains.\u00a0 He invites Documentation Center online, remember that every document in the collection involves communications related to agriculture.\u00a0 So the collection lends itself to cross-subject searches.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you want to identify documents about public attitudes toward pesticides, you might enter two terms under Subject in the search form, as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>attitudes AND pesticides<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here are a few other examples of strategies for cross-searching, by subject:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>advertising AND dairy<\/li>\n<li>adoption AND
