Evans at the University of Illinois recognized a problem: about 15 agricultural communications courses were being taught, but instructors had surprisingly few teaching resources available to them.<\/p>\n<p>The resources existed but were scattered so widely they were difficult to find. What began as an effort to help make those resources more visible grew into the Agricultural Communications Documentation Center. And so, the ACDC began.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the ACDC includes more than 51,000 documents about the communications aspects of agriculture, broadly defined. They represent agriculture-related communications in more than 200 countries and 34 languages.
