The IDEA Lab is a creative technology lab that provides technology resources and services for UIUC affiliated patrons, including students, faculty, and staff. A valid i-Card or Illinois App is required for reservations.<\/p>\n
Patrons can request access by appointment hours\u00a0through our request form<\/a>. The IDEA Lab reserves the right to prioritize appointments based upon available resources.<\/p>\n Learn more about reserving a room on the Lab\u2019s Reservations page<\/a>. Absence\/leave of a space for more than 20 minutes will result in cancellation of the reservation. Repeated cancellations or unused bookings may result in limits on future space requests.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n Maximum occupancy must not be exceeded by order of the fire code. Innovator Design Rooms must have at least 2 occupants or the reservation will be canceled after 20 minutes.<\/p>\n No food is allowed in the IDEA Lab. Covered drinks are allowed in specific locations, but never near high-tech equipment. Thank you for keeping our space clean and technology safe.<\/p>\n Grainger Library is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. <\/strong>Unattended items left in a reserved space will be collected and delivered to Lost and Found at the Grainger Engineering Library Circulation Desk on the 1st floor.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n Check out items at the IDEA Lab\u2019s Loanable Technology page<\/a>.<\/p>\n Items must be returned to the IDEA Lab Help Desk, where they will be discharged after staff have received and processed all included components (e.g., charging cables).<\/p>\n Overdue fines are $15\/day.<\/p>\nReservations<\/h3>\n
