Primary sources can be in multiple formats.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Autobiographies and memoirs<\/li>\n<li>Diaries, personal letters, correspondence<\/li>\n<li>Interviews, surveys, fieldwork<\/li>\n<li>Internet communications on email, blogs, social media, listservs and newsgroups<\/li>\n<li>Photographs, drawings, posters<\/li>\n<li>Works of art and literature<\/li>\n<li>Book, magazine and newspaper articles published at the time of the event or issue<\/li>\n<li>Public opinion polls<\/li>\n<li>Speeches and oral histories<\/li>\n<li>Birth certificates, deeds, trial transcripts<\/li>\n<li>Data sets, census statistics<\/li>\n<li>Records of organizations and government agencies<\/li>\n<li>Artifacts such as tools, coins, clothing, furniture<\/li>\n<li>Audio recordings, DVDs, and video recordings<\/li>\n<li>Government documents<\/li>\n<li>Patents,<\/li>\n<li>Scientific journal articles reporting experimental research results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secondary Sources:<\/strong> Describe, discuss, interpret, comment on, analyze, evaluate, summarize primary sources.
