These collections form the bulk of <a href=\"https:\/\/vufind.carli.illinois.edu\/all\/vf\/\">I-Share<\/a>, the statewide library online catalog.<\/p>\n<h2><div class=\"shortcode sh-p-4 sh-rounded sh-drop-shadow-sm sh-bg-il_blue !sh-text-white \"><div><div class=\"[&_a]:!sh-text-white [&_a]:visited:!sh-text-white\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/collections\/special-collections\/\">Featured Collections and Acquisitions<\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/news\/14-millionth-volume-announced\/\">14-Millionth Volume<\/a> \u2013 The library has over 15 million volumes in its collection. In 2017, the 14-millionth volume, <em>The University of Illinois: Engine of Innovation,<\/em>\u00a0was added.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/collections\/special-collections\/audubon\/\">Audubon Folio<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 The library owns a copy of John James Audubon\u2019s\u00a0<em>Birds of America<\/em>\u00a0folio, as well as a facsimile which is displayed near the Literature and Languages Library.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/collections\/special-collections\/audubon\/resources\/\">Resources on Audubon<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 A list of resources related to Audubon and\u00a0<em>The Birds of America<\/em>, including books, catalogs, films, and music.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/collections\/bookplates\/\">Faculty Book Plates<\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Faculty who are newly tenured and\/or promoted are able to select a book for our Library collections. These selections are book-plated in their honor, and stand as a reminder now and into the future of the remarkable accomplishments of the faculty at this university.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/digital.library.illinois.edu\/\">Digital Collections<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 The University of Illinois has digitized a variety of important collections and made them available online.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/collections\/about\/statements\/\">Collection Development Statements and Descriptions<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Specific collection descriptions and statements.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/collections\/statements\/subjectdirectory\/\">Subject Selectors<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 List of individuals and units responsible for collection development in specific subject areas.<\/p>\n<h2><div class=\"shortcode sh-p-4 sh-rounded sh-drop-shadow-sm sh-bg-il_blue !sh-text-white \"><div><div class=\"[&_a]:!sh-text-white [&_a]:visited:!sh-text-white\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/collections\/collection-services\/\">Collection Services<\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/collections\/collection-services\/digitization-services\/\">Digitization Services<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Digitization Services creates high quality digital reproductions or print materials to support library patrons in their research and scholarship.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/cmservices\/gifts.html\">Gifts to the Library<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 The University Library Gifts Policy addresses donations of print, non-print, and related gifts of both general and special nature.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.library.illinois.edu\/ask-us\/suggest-a-purchase\/\">Suggest a Purchase<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Ask the library to buy a book, film, or other information source you need by providing basic author and title information.
