This program runs off a database from CARLI which is having occasional issues. At this time CARLI has no immediate plans to fix the problem. It will be fixed eventually with an upgrade to new hardware. In the meantime occasionally return with strange error messages or may claim that an item is not ready to be transferred but will be missing information. For example, it may warn of an invalid location code, but then will not display the current location code.
When this happens please try again after waiting a few minutes. If you believe this is not the problem, then please log an work ticket that includes the barcodes that are causing the issue and the resulting error message to the IT Help Desk.
NOTES: This program runs against a one-day old copy of the UIUC Voyager database. You must wait at least one day after updating the item's Voyager record in order for the following verifications to be made. If all information in the Voyager record meets the Stacks criteria, a routing streamer will print out. If any information in the Voyager record is incorrect, the program will return an error message. After fixing the Voyager record, you will need to set the item aside until tomorrow in order to re-verify the record and to produce a routing slip. ITEMS SENT TO MAIN STACKS FROM UNIT LIBRARIES THAT DO NOT CONTAIN A ROUTING STREAMER THAT HAS BEEN PRODUCED FROM THIS PROGRAM WILL BE RETURNED TO THE SENDING LIBRARY.
