Currently we're on Voyager release 7.1 for the staff client and 6.5.3 for the online catalog
The following instructions will enable you to install the Voyager Acquisitions, Cataloging, and Circulation modules on your home PC. The following procedure installs the "Voyager Updater"; which is a client that loads the most recent Voyager version on your computer and keeps Voyager up to date.
Step 1. You need to download the following zip file: Download
Step 2. Extract the contents of the zip file to the desktop on your machine.
Step 3. Run the Setup.bat file by double clicking on it. The installation of the updater will begin. Your machine may need to be rebooted during the installation.
Step 4. After installation completes, your machine will attempt to download the most recent version of Voyager. Please make sure your machine is connected to the internet. When the Voyager installation is complete, you should have a popup indicating this.
Step 5. Copy the voyager.ini file from the zip that you downloaded to the C:\voy2k1g or C:\voyager folder that was created by the installation.
Step 6. You may now delete the Setup.bat and run.exe files from your desktop.
Step 7. Connect to the UIUC VPN (if you don't have it, get it here).
Step 8. The shortcuts for the Voyager modules should now be working.
