Loanable Hard Drives

The Undergraduate Library now has portable hard drives available for UIUC students, faculty, and staff.

The 320 GB units are formatted for Mac and compatible with Apple® Time Machine™. This drive is plug-and-play ready for Mac computer users.

The 500 GB units for Mac or PC.

How to get one

Hard Drives are available at the UGL Loanable Technology Desk.
Library Hard Drives use USB 2.0 connections.
They can be checked out for up to 1 week. One renewal upon request by phone or in person. $5.00 per day overdue fine.
Hard Drives are available on a first come, first served basis. They may be reserved in advance. Call the Circulation Desk at 217-333-3477.
