Talk to the UGL

You can borrow a MacBook Pro or a PC laptop at the Undergrad Library (Check PC availability)(Check MacBook Pro availability)- Available for 2 hours at a time, for use within the UGL.
- Laptop power cords (Check availability)- Sometimes you need a little extra juice! These can be checked out for 2 hours, within UGL.
- USB laptop mouse (Check availability)- Get an optical mouse for use with a laptop. These can be checked out for 2 hours, within UGL.
- Laptop locks (Check availability)- Secure your laptop, or ours! These can be checked out for 2 hours, within UGL.

CITES Instructional Computing Services (ICS) has a computer lab in the northeast corner of the UGL.
- The CITES lab has additional software and a separate printing system.
- Special programs requested for specific classes are usually available at the CITES lab. Contact CITES for more information about the software on their computers.

The Undergrad library maintains 64 PCs for walk-up computing.
- Check out the software available on PCs in the UGL.
- All Library PCs print to the printers by the Circulation and Reserves Desk at the front of the upper level.

The Undergrad Library has 8 new Macs!

- The Macs print to the CITES computer lab in the northeast corner of the upper level.

All Undergraduate Library computers print to the same printers, located in front of the circulation and reference desks on the upper level.
Students can print from their own laptops to library printers using library software downloaded here for Windows 2000 and XP or here for Windows Vista.
Mac OSX version 10.5 (Tiger) is also supported with software downloadable here. Please note, that after installing to your MacBook you must still use the Web Release Station here to pay for your print job.
Black and White Printing is $0.10 a page, color printing costs vary based on how much color is in the document being printed. There is also a Library Printing FAQ available for questions/problems with printing.
The CITES lab uses their own printers, and color printing is not currently available there.
