Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin was an accomplished diplomat, scientist, philosopher, soldier, inventor, author, and printer. He invented the lightning rod and bifocals, formed the first public lending library in America, and secured French support for America during the American Revolution. This American founding father has his face all over American culture today: on stamps, money, educational institutes and companies.
