Style and Writing Guides

Style and writing guides can help you manage and create citations, develop a research plan, and write specific types of articles or papers. This list includes general style and writing guides as well as subject-specific guides for the social sciences, health, and education.

All titles are located in the  Social Sciences, Health, and Education Library (SSHEL) Reference Collection unless otherwise noted. The location SSHEL RCC indicates the item is held in the SSHEL Reference Circulating Collection. You can also search the Online Library Catalog to find the location and description of an item. 

Writing guides are generally found in the 808.066 Dewey ecimal call number range. Browse SSHEL's or another University of Illinois shelves for additional guides.
