Signing Up
Creating a RefWorks account is quick, easy, and free for University of Illinois students,
faculty, and staff. Here's how:
RefWorks-COS has recently added an Alumni Program that will now be offered as a standard feature
of RefWorks, providing lifelong access to users that are alumni of the University of Illinois. All
students, faculty and staff that have created a RefWorks account will continue to have access to
their personal research databases for future professional and academic endeavors. Alumni
cannot access Refworks from the library. Instead, go directly to
Refworks.com and use the Illinois groupcode and your same login.
