Schedel, Hartmann, 1440-1514. Liber cronicarum.
Nuremberg: Anton Koberger, 1493.
This summary of the history, geography, and wonders of the world, popularly known as
the Nuremberg Chronicle, is profusely illustrated with woodcuts, portraits and maps. Although there are

to illustrated as many different subjects.
There are two different editions of the work--the first one (in Latin) appeared in July of 1493.
The second edition (in German) appeared in December of the same year.
