This volume is a 551-page German manuscript commentary on Aesthetik by Friedrich Bouterwek. Bouterwek (1766-1828) was a German philosopher and critic who "revised Kantian formalism under [the] influence of Idealists" [1]. His second publication, Aesthetik was first published in 1806. The producer of this manuscript is unknown.
This volume is dated at Gottingen, 28 March 1810. It was previously owned by Joseph Kürschner (1853-1902) and was purchased by the Library from Ernst Bergmann Leipzig (1881-1945) in 1925. This manuscript contains marginal notes by an unidentified author.
