The Songe of Solomon [manuscript] : canticles., [between 1641 and 1700?] | University of Illinois Rare Book and Manuscript Library
Origin: Presumably written in England, after the publication of the 1641 edition of Sandys's Paraphrase upon the Song of Solomon (Wing (2nd ed.), B2629A). Bookseller's description suggests that the manuscript is "seventeenth century." Contains slight variations from the 1641 printed text; a concordance is laid in.
Provenance: Acquired from Dobell, 27 December 1941.
