Adding Envelopes

Procedure:

Adding Envelopes

Some pamphlets include supplementary materials such as maps, guides, plates, or oversized, folded items. We include these 'extra' materials by placing them in an envelope next to the pamphlet.

Since the binder's tapes are used to attach the pamphlet to the binder, an additional double-sided, cloth tape is used ("single stitched binder's tape"). One side attaches to the binder cover/tape, and the other to the envelope, creating a durable hinge.

The tape is measured, cut to the length of the envelope and glued into the back of the binder. Then the envelope is glued into the 'front' half of the double set of tapes.
