Full Description:Identifies articles in basic and clinical biomedical research, psychology and other allied health fields.  Subjects covered include all aspects of human and animal health, medicine, nursing, dentistry, and the preclinical sciences. Additionally PubMed covers most areas of the basic biomedical sciences such as cell biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology. PubMed is the free, online version of MEDLINE (and PREMEDLINE), the National Library of Medicine (NLM)'s premier bibliographic database. It contains references from over 4,600 biomedical and life sciences journals. Citations in PREMEDLINE are input daily from feeds provided by publishers and so do not contain Medical Subject Headings (MESH).
