The INHS Library uses AOL Instant Messaging account to provide chat service via the widget on our website. Using the widget allows patrons to remain anonymous. The INHS Library does store session logs from our Instant Messaging service for the purpose of evaluating the service.

Patrons should be aware that AOL collects and stores user data from the AIM service. AOL's collection of data via the AOL IM Network is subject to AOL IM Network privacy policies available at http://about.aol.com/aolnetwork/mem_policy and http://about.aol.com/aolnetwork/aol_pp.
