Since the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs was founded in 1991, over 1,300
library professionals from 90 countries have participated in the Center's innovative programs. We
also work with our librarian colleagues in countries around the world.

The 2017 Mortenson Center Associates Program will offer individuals working in a library setting outside the United States an opportunity to explore current issues and trends in the library field and to engage with librarians implementing cutting-edge programs and services.
Program participants will learn about novel and inventive practices and services in areas such as:
· United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals

Although we receive many requests from professionals to participate in Mortenson Center programs, we accept no more than 12-15 participants at one time.
This year's program will begin and end in Champaign, IL.
Participants should plan to arrive in Champaign, Illinois' Willard Airport on May 24, 2017. Program activities will begin on May 24, 2017.
The last day of program activities will be June 20, 2017. Participants should plan to depart from Champaign, Illlinois on June 21, 2017.
