University and National Library
BIBSYS is a searchable database of all Norwegian university libraries, the National Library in Oslo, and several research libraries (more than 60 libraries in all). It is easy to search but somewhat hard to determine which library holds the title.
LIBRIS is an excellent union catalog that allows searching of titles in more than 160 Swedish libraries. An added plus for literary studies is the automatic linking to book reviews, if available.
Kunglige Bibliotek (KB) (also available: English interface)
REGINA is the new web-based catalog of the Royal Library and has all material added to the library's collection since 1976 plus parts of the older collection. An English-language interface is also available.
Officially a research collection for Congress, the Library of Congress is generally considered to be the national library of the United States. Its website provides a choice of interfaces for searching the online catalog.
WorldCat: OCLC Online Union Catalog
WorldCat is the extensive searchable bibliographic database produced by the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) in conjunction with cooperating libraries.
This portal enables users to search digital and bibliographic resources from dozens of European national libraries.
