How to Buy Scandinavian Books

Book, Journal & Video Selection Sources

The following links connect to Books in Print and its foreign equivalents when available, or in some cases, to overseas booksellers who make their inventory available to search. Keep in mind that booksellers may not carry complete records of the publishing output of a country. More complete coverage may be found in the country's official record of book publishing in a print format. Also included are links to a few domestic vendors and bookstores specializing in foreign titles. Most databases allow you either to browse by subject area or to search on author, title, subject, ISBN, etc.

Danish

BogGuide

Search among more than 25,000 Danish books through free-text, author, title, ISBN, price, publisher, year of publication, or subject.

Dutch

BoekNet

Scroll down the page to Boeken Zoeken in order to search 130,000 Dutch titles by title, ISBN, author, or genre.

Norwegian

Norli Bokhandel

One of Norway's oldest bookshops - Lothes Bokhandel - joined with Norli Haugesund in 2004 to become Norli Bokhandel.

Swedish

AdLibris
