ArcView 2.1
Desktop GIS for display, query, simple analysis, and map production of GIS data. Graphical interface. More user-friendly and less powerful than PC ArcInfo.

Automap Europe
Cities, mountains, ski resorts, hotels, weather (max/min temp., avg. rainfall). Text on defense, communications, government, people, motoring organizations, geography for each country. Calculates routes and distances.

Automap USA
Cities, mountains, forests, reservations, roads, places, etc. Tracks by lat/lon, international grid, time zone. Find locations by place and region. Calculates routes and distances.

Centennia Map
Guide to history of Europe and Middle East from 1000 AD to present.

Global Explorer
World. Countries, cities, contour line, museums, govn't bldgs, religious sites, etc. Indicates airline routes from one city to another, gazetteer information, street finder.

MapExpert 2.0
U.S. Very detailed street map. Find locations by place, phone, zip, street name (and block number). Units in English or metric. Can create new overlays with lines, fill, symbols. Tracks in lat/lon. Distance tool.

Map'n'Go
U.S. Contours, landcover, streets, points of interest, photos, hotels, restaurants. Find locations by place name, phone number, zip code. Calculates routes, creates travel plans.

PC ArcInfo
GIS for display, query, analysis, storing, modifying, and map production of GIS data. Command-line interface. Less user-friendly and more powerful than ArcView.

PC Globe
Almanac and atlas. Data on GNP, imports/exports, energy, agriculture, climate, flags, travel requirements, currency conversion, time zones, distance calculations.

The Software Toolworks World Atlas 2.0
Thematic, reference, and regional relief maps. Facts on geography, people, government, economy, and communications.

Catalogs, Gazetteers, and Indexes

Aerial Photography Summary Record System (ASPRS)
Indicates availability of aerial photos. Search by: lat/lon, date, state/county, scale, cloud cover, focal length. Holdings from Federal, state, local govn't; universities; private firms.

Cartographic Catalog
Indicates availability of maps, charts, globes, atlases, aerial photos, images, digital map data; and earth science related books, indexes, reports, and software. Search by: title, state, county, area, city, type of item, date, author, vendor.

Geographic Names Information System (GNIS)
National Geographic Names, Topographic Map Names, and Reference data bases. Information about place names in the US and territories. Search by: state, county, feature, lat/lon, elevation, bibliographic reference.

Omni Gazetteer of the United States of America
Place names, facts, and locations. Features include: locales, structures, facilities, historic features, etc.

1980 Census
Population and housing data: U.S., state, and county Summary Files 1C, 3C; tracts, block groups, and enumeration districts, Summary Tape File 1A.

1990 Census Transportation Planning Package
Tabulations of place-of-work and transportation data. Data from 1980 Census Edition of TIGER/Line files and the National Highway Planning Network.

ArcUSA 1:2,000,000, Coterminous U.S.
Cartographic, statistical, tabular, and index information at state and county levels. County, state, and Federal land boundaries, hydrography, roads, railroads, population, income, government expenditure, etc.

Arc World 1:3,000,000
Cartographic, statistical, tabular, and index information at country levels. Country boundaries, hydrography, roads, railroads, population, income, government expenditure, etc.

Countries of the World
Textual information about countries in book and article format. Statistics, history, government, etc.

County-City Plus
Statistics for states, counties and Metropolitan Statistical Areas. Population, income, landcover, crime, health, education, trade, government, and employment information.

Digital Chart of the World (DCW)
1:1,000,000 scale vector data, in Vector Product Format (VPF). Contours, drainage, roads, landcover, railroads, utilities, ocean features, physiography, aeronautical, etc.

Digital Line Graph (DLG) Data, 1:100,000-scale
Digital version of hydrographic and transportation features from USGS topographic maps. Covers Middle Atlantic states, Florida, and Mississippi Valley.

Digital Line Graph (DLG) Data, 1:2,000,000-scale
Digital version of hydrographic and transportation features from USGS topographic map series. Coverage is entire U.S.

Digital Orthophoto Quadrangle (DOQ)
Digital images of aerial photographs with distortion corrected so that ground features are in their true geographic positions. Coverage is of some counties in the U.S.

Illinois Geographic Information System, Digital Databases of Illinois
Contains county and statewide coverage of cartographic features including: airports, floodzones, nature preserves, hydrography, landfills.

Earth and Space Sciences
Satellite imagery for Yellowstone, Antarctic, planets, Sun, comets.

LandView II, Mapping of Selected EPA-regulated Site
Mapping of selected EPA-regulated sites, TIGER/Line 1992, and 1990 Census of population and housing.

Magellan, Full-Resolution Radar Mosaics
Images and gazetteer of place names.

TIGER/Line
Digital data for all 1990 census map features. Includes: feature name and classification codes, FIPS codes, and address range and zip codes for streets. Coverage of entire U.S.

World Climate Disc: Global Climatic Change Data
Records from world climatic data stations. Mean monthly surface air temperatures, precipitation, and sea-level pressure.

World WeatherDisc: Climate Data for the Planet Earth
World data on: tornadoes, sunshine, lightning, thunderstorms, temperature, airfield and ship observations, climatological summaries, etc.
