A number of important changes are being implemented in the Office of the CIO and CITES, designed to strengthen our ability to serve the campus and underscore our commitment to effective two-way communications and consultation with the campus community.

- Stan Yagi, Assistant CIO for Information Technologies, has assumed overall responsibility for the planning and support of the campus Network Upgrade.

- A new position, Director of Network Communications, has been created to focus on coordinating campus input and collaboration on the Network Upgrade. This position, which will report to Stan Yagi, will be filled as soon as possible.

- Mona Heath, Director of Customer Support Services, has taken on the additional role of Director of Strategic Communications, responsible for ensuring open, two-way communication that is effective, customer-oriented, and timely.

- Sue Lewis will move to a new role as Director of Strategic Projects and Initiatives, focusing on important new projects including accessibility (in partnership with Disability Resources and
Educational Services in Applied Life Studies) and a portal evaluation, working with campus and University stakeholders.
