Diversity Consultant

Full-time position responsible for managing a grant-funded project to promote the use and development of library services for culturally diverse communities.  The Diversity Consultant will provide consulting services to libraries, governing officials, and other agencies in all topics related to cultural diversity, conduct training and education sessions, assist libraries in program development, work with contractors, and maintain a web site for the project.  Required:  MLS from ALA-accredited library school, experience in working with culturally diverse communities and multiple languages, experience in web development, valid Illinois driver's license.  Submit letter of application, resume, and names of three references to Lincoln Trail Libraries System, 1704 W. Interstate Drive, Champaign, IL  61822. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled; review of applications will begin October 28.
