Drowning in Data? Try RefWorks

Oct 4, 2010

Jenny Emanuel, Digital Resources & Reference Librarian, has graciously agreed to lead two RefWorks workshops for GSLIS students. RefWorks is a web-based citation management tool that is free for all students and faculty at University of Illinois.  It works with databases and the online library catalog to import citations into your own personal database.  You can organize citations by topic in folders, share citations with colleagues or peers, and easily print bibliographies. If you create a RefWorks account now, you can continue to access it after graduation.

On-campus workshop:  Sunday, October 17, 4-5pm, LIS 52

Online workshop:  Wednesday, November 3, 4-5pm, via Elluminate

Planning to participate?  *** Please send an RSVP email to Sue Searing (searing@illinois.edu) indicating which session you’ll attend.***
