LER gratefully acknowledges the generous gift of William and Vivian McPherson for the support of our library collection.
The old Labor Library used to house 140 file drawers containing resources for research in labor studies. Those materials include pamphlets and fugitive materials arranged by union name, collective bargaining agreements, and some unpublished arbitration awards. All drawers are currently located at the Business & Economics Library, and users can browse these materials when the Business & Economics Library is open.
The University Archives has already begun its work on processing these materials in order to develop easy finding-aids for researchers. Once these aids become available, they will be announced for their availability and linked from this portal for online searching.
