Social Sciences Health and Education LibraryThe Social Sciences, Health, and Education Library (SSHEL) provides consistent, high quality research and instructional services to students and faculty in the departments of American Indian Studies, anthropology, Asian American studies, economics, gender and women's studies, geography & geographic information science, LGBT studies, political science, psychology, and sociology; the College of Applied Health Sciences; College of Education; the School of Social Work; the School of Labor and Employment Relations; and the Graduate School of Library and Information Science.

There are several special collections housed in SSHEL including the Test Collection, with over 8,500 tests measuring achievement, intelligence, character and personality, and the School Collection of Children’s Literature, known as the S-Collection.

Help in finding and using materials is available. Librarians and graduate students provide assistance with reference and research questions, term paper topics, location of journals, use of indexes, tours of the library, and more.
