The Mortenson Center is located at 142 Undergraduate Library.
The mission of the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs is to strengthen international ties among libraries and librarians worldwide for the promotion of international education, understanding, and peace.
Over 900 librarians from more than 90 countries have participated in professional development programs offered by the Mortenson Center, the only one of its kind in the world.
Our programs would not be possible without the expertise and generosity of our colleagues at the University of Illinois University Library, the University of Illinois Graduate School of Library and Information Science, and library and information science professionals throughout the United States.
