The Office of Technology Planning and Policy is a large department. Many of the 'Behind the Scenes' units fall under this umbrella, including everything from maintaining the Library Gateway, to on-campus digitization projects.
The office's mission can be described as falling into three areas of activity in the Library: Information technology, grants and sponsored research, and entrepreneurial programs. Library Information Technology includes people, technology and services of all types, on this campus and world-wide.
