Campus Mail Option
UIUC faculty, staff, and graduate students who have a campus office address can have items delivered to their offices via Campus Mail. When placing a request through the UIUC Online Library Catalog or I-Share, simply select “UIUC CAMPUS MAIL” from the “Choose pick-up location” dropdown menu.
Note: the Library is unable to mail library materials to other campus mail addresses or to postal addresses.
Using the Campus Mail Option
- Click on the “Request Item” option for the item you’d like to request.
- Select “University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign” as the pick-up library.
- Select “UIUC CAMPUS MAIL” from the “Choose pick-up location” dropdown menu and click "Request."
Your Campus Mail address is listed under “Contact Information” in your library account. If you have questions about your account or need to report that your name or address has changed, please contact the Library.
Returning Library Material
Library materials cannot be returned through Campus Mail. Borrowers may return UIUC and I-Share library materials to any public service point in the library regardless of where the item was originally charged out. Please return non-I-Share interlibrary loan materials to the Circulation Desk on the second floor of the Main Library.
Since library materials are discharged from the borrower's account at the location to which they are returned and prior to being shipped back to the owning library, borrowers are not held responsible for items that are lost in shipping. Return receipts are available upon request at any circulation desk.
