Are you looking for ebooks?
The University of Illinois Library has thousands of eBooks that can be accessed anytime by its students and faculty.E-books are an amazing addition to our library resources. When the library buys e-books most of the time we buy a huge quantity of books from a specific e-book provider. This means that the list of e-books that we have can be updated daily. The best way to find e-books is through easy search from the Library home page. Once you have accessed an e-book provider you can search within that provider for more titles.
Library Easy Search
Step 1. Start at the Library home page and begin your e-book topic search in the easy seach box:
Step 2. The results should look like this:
- You are looking for any result that lists e-book in the title.
E-Books in the Library Catalog
Step 1. You can access electronic books through the library catalog. Once you navigate to the catalog you will want to use the advanced searching options.
Step 2. You can browse the catalog with a keyword search, and by selecting Electronic resource and Book.
You might also find this icon in our catalog to represent e-book.
Safari Books Online
Step 1. Navigate to the Grainger Engineering Library web portal. On the left-side navigation under “ Find a Book,” click on “Safari Computer Books.”
Step 2. In the search box on the left-hand side, enter keywords to find eBooks on your desired topic (Example: Relational Databases). Click on the title to view the full record.
