Description

I-Share Union Catalog is a joint VuFind catalog shared by 75 CARLI libraries. Through I-Share, UI Library users have access to the holdings of all 75 member libraries and can request delivery of items from any member library to a UI Library circulation desk.

The VuFind online catalog is available 24/7.

Priority level for this service

Maintaining 24/7 VuFind availability for Library users and Library staff is CARLI's top priority.

How to report a problem

During normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00)

Log a Work Request with the Library IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 4-4688.

At other times

If VuFind is down and it is not a planned outage that was announced on Libnews-L, call CARLI Support at 4-7593 to report the problem. You will be asked to leave a message. The CARLI staff member on call will be paged.

Who can use this service

The UI's VuFind online catalog and the I-Share Union Catalog are available to users worldwide through most Unicode compliant web browsers.

What you must have to use this service

To use the online catalog, you must have a computer with an internet connection and a Unicode-compliant web browser that supports Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
