Verde is available during normal business hours.

Priority level for this service

Maintaining Verde is medium priority for Library IT. We make every effort to resolve problems with this service as quickly as possible.

How to report a problem

If the Verde system is down, please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 244-4688. Incoming tickets and calls are reviewed and prioritized as they arrive between 8:30-5:00, Monday through Friday.

Description

Verde is an Electronic Resource Management system provided by Exlibris. This is primarily used to manage the complex life cycle of various electronic resources.

Who can use this service

Verde does not have any public interface so it is only accessible to library employees who deal with electronic resource management.

What you must have to use this service

To use Verde you must have a computer with an internet connection and a recent web browser with JavaScript enabled.

Service managers

The primary Service Manager is Sharif Islam in the IT Infrastructure & Software Development unit.

IT Infrastructure and Software Development hosts the Verde servers and manages the underlying database and software.

The Library's Content Access Management (CAM) unit and the Electronic Resources Management Working Group are responsible for managing Verde data records.
