The Library Gateway is normally available 24/7.
Maintaining the Library Gateway is a critical priority for Library IT. We make every effort to resolve problems with this service as quickly as possible.
To report problems with the Library Gateway , please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 244-4688. Incoming tickets and calls are reviewed and prioritized as they arrive between 8:30-5:00, Monday through Friday. Tickets or calls coming in after hours are reviewed promptly on the next business day.
If it is outside normal business hours (8:30-5:00, Monday through Friday) and you believe there is a widespread outage of the Library Gateway, please contact Grainger Library at 333-3576. Grainger staff will notify Library IT staff on call. (There is no response when Grainger is closed.)
This service is the Library's 24/7 public web presence for users in the University community and around the world. It provides access to the Library's vast array of collections and services.
Users around the world have ready access to the Library Web Services.
To use the Library Gateway you must have a computer with an internet connection and a web browser.
The Library Gateway servers are managed by the IT Infrastructure and Software Development unit within Library IT.
The design and content of Library Gateway is managed by the Library's Web Content Coordinator.
