BibLeaves is a web-based bibliography system developed by the University of Illinois Library for searching multiple collections via a search box or facets.
Bibleaves is normally available 24/7.
Maintaining the Bibleaves service is a high availability agreement, meaning problems with the service itself are dealt with when they occur.
Problems with individual collections and records are dealt with during normal business hours (M-F, 8:30-5:00).
If there is an issue with an individual Bibleaves collection, please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 244-4688. Incoming tickets and calls are reviewed and prioritized as they arrive between 8:30-5:00, Monday through Friday. Tickets or calls coming in after hours are reviewed promptly on the next business day.
If the Bibleaves service is down during normal business hours, please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 244-4688.
If it is outside normal business hours (8:30-5:00, Monday through Friday) and Bibleaves is down, please call 244-4688 and leave a message with the Library IT Help Desk answering service (aka the AITS Service Desk). In an emergency situation the answering service will contact Library IT on-call support staff promptly.
Bibleaves is available to users worldwide for searching and browsing
There is no documentation at this time.
To use Bibleaves you must have a computer with an internet connection and a web browser.
Each collection will have its own group responsible for supplying the bibliographic data for ingestion into Bibleaves.
Library IT Infrastructure Support and Management supports the Bibleaves service.
Library IT Software Development Group is responsible for creating workflows to add new collections to Bibleaves.
