Bean Counter is a reporting system that is being developed by Library IT for the University Library. Bean Counter can be used to generate reports from multiple Library databases, including Voyager, the Library's Instructional Statistics, PaperCut, and ORR (among others.)
Bean Counter is normally available 24/7.
Maintaining the Bean Counter service is a high priority for Library IT. We make every effort to resolve problems with this service as quickly as possible.
Problems with individual report templates in the Bean Counter system are dealt with during normal business hours (M-F, 8:30-5:00) by the Bean Counter Administrators.
If the Bean Counter service is down or not allowing you to submit report requests , please contact the Bean Counter Administrators. Incoming emails are reviewed and prioritized as they arrive between 8:30-5:00, Monday through Friday. Tickets or calls coming in after hours are reviewed promptly on the next business day.
Contact the Bean Counter Administrators to report problems with individual report templates or to ask questions about the reports or the system.
Bean Counter is available to all Library faculty/staff.
To use Bean Counter you must have a computer with an internet connection and a web browser.
The IT Infrastructure and Support (IMS) group hosts the servers and build/manage some of the underlying databases.
Bean Counter Administrators develop, manage, and troubleshoot the Bean Counter Service. They also develop the templates for Bean Counter reports.
CARLI manages the Voyager Reports Server which supports the generation of reports from the Library's Voyager database.
